grips & mounts

Used to Attach Marine Lights and Cameras to Your Helmet

There are four types of equipment grip; the grip pad, the grip insert, the go-pro grip and the grip rail

The grip on both of these varieties is designed to hold cylindrically shaped accessories with a 10-30mm diameter. They are designed to break free if caught on a wire or taught rope to prevent damage to the wearer’s neck so we recommend using a lanyard to secure any equipment to prevent losing it in the event of an entanglement.

GRIP rail

The Rail grip was designed alongside our MBH model to allow the picatinny style of mounts to be used alongside the  helmet.

It fits in using the same design as the Grip Insert which allows it to be rotated 360 degrees. This also enables it to be released under pressure to protect the neck if caught on objects.

One can be worn alongside our communication headset or two can be used simultaneously without comms if needed.

GRIP PAD

Easily fitted onto existing Gecko helmets, the grip pad can be mounted at any angle and most surfaces.

The grip pad allows for communication to be used alongside the grips, so the user can carry a video camera, flashlight and communications at the same time.

The grip comes in a case with two different size rings to allow fitment of a large variety of different sized and shaped accessories with a 20-50mm diameter. Instructions are also included on how to stick the pad to your helmet.

GRIP INSERT

Easily fitted into existing Gecko open face or full face helmet using a simple ‘push fit’ system. The adjustable angle of the grip enables the mounted equipment to follow your line of sight or turned to face backwards or even straight up in a rescue situation to be spotted easier from the air.

The grip comes in a case with two different size rings to allow fitment of a large variety of different sized and shaped accessories with a 20-50mm diameter.

go pro grip
